VFW Post 4669 in Black Eagle held a food drive for the Great Falls Community Food Bank for the VFW National Day of Service this weekend. We were set up from 9 am to 2 pm at Smith’s Food & Drug at Marketplace on Friday, May 6th (for the ease of the food bank). We collected $343.02 in cash that went directly to the food bank, and filled almost three barrels with non-perishable food. We were eager to do this since the food bank has been low on stock with so many people needing help lately.
